What obligations does a developer have to their client?

Every contractor has an obligation to fulfil his part of an agreement. Therefore, it is good to set out in the assignment what the client expects from the final product and how to determine whether those expectations have been met. Also, as a developer, you must be able to account for how you execute a project, and you must keep your client well informed.

As long as you as a developer are not employed by a client, you remain the copyright owner of the models and the software you develop. If your client wants the copyright, it must be transferred separately.
