How can an AI model be transferred?

A model is a form of software and so both the code and the copyright to the code itself must be transferred. This requires a deed, a written agreement. Be aware of how far the transfer goes: do you get the copyright on the mathematical representation of the model, the entire program around it, or the training method and documentation as well? The copyright on those different parts is not automatically considered as a whole, certainly, the documentation can be a separate document which has a separate copyright. Furthermore, as a buyer, transferring only the copyright does not help you much, the seller must also give you the code. This can be done by the seller placing the code on your development platform or by exchanging a hard disk with the code on it.
